Putting the new AI-enhanced search engine into the hands of smartphone users is meant to give Microsoft an advantage over Google, which dominates the internet search business but hasn’t yet released such a chatbot to the public. The company said Wednesday it is bringing the new AI technology to its Bing smartphone app, as well as the app for its Edge internet browser, though it is still requiring people to sign up for a waitlist before using it. Microsoft is ready to take its new Bing chatbot mainstream - less than a week after making major fixes to stop the artificially intelligent search engine from going off the rails. The reason is the inability to use the stock with the Microsoft identity platform. But this permission is needed for an alternative implementation of user authentication. * The extension requires the seemingly unnecessary 'Read browsing history' permission. But unfortunately, there's no official extension at this time – Reason: the public API does not allow you to get information about grouping lists. * When you select a list, the lists are shown in an un-grouped form. It is due to the features of the Microsoft identity platform. The extension uses this tab to obtain an updated access token. * If more than 24 hours have passed since the previous use of the extension, then when you start it you will see a browser tab automatically opening in the background. * Flexible configuration of the expansion interface: time and date formats, default list (with ability to remember last used), default reminder time (or last used). * Assigning keyboard shortcuts for both types of operations.
